Bamboo is a versatile and sustainable material, celebrated for its strength, flexibility, and natural beauty. We begin by exploring bamboo, often seen in Chinese kitchens, to reveal its forgotten value and repurpose its use.
A bamboo piece can be rolled or folded into modules of varied shapes which will form the basis for larger and intricate forms. Its possibilities are endless.

創意竹藝節日裝飾工作坊
竹子是一種多功能且可持續的材料，以其強度、靈活性和自然之美而聞名。我們首先探索中國廚房中常見的「竹撻」，揭示其被遺忘的價值並重新利用它的用途。
「竹撻」可以捲起或折疊成各種形狀的模組，只要加點心思和創意，可以變化成為更複雜的形態，可能性是無限的。 藉著這充滿假日氣氛的日子，工作坊中我們會用「竹撻」來創作聖誕樹或雪人、雪花、及不同形狀的美麗裝飾。
Workshop Details:
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Max Participants: 5 per session
- Materials: Bamboo mats, worksheets, tools and other materials
- Age: This workshop is suitable for family and children aged over 6.
You will be able to produce and bring home:
- Snowflake x 1 AND
- Christmas tree x 1 / OR Snowman x 1
