From 8.5.2021, we will present a selection of exquisite tea leaves fused with the principles of Chinese medicines from TEA HEALS. A special collection of Tokoname and Arita teaware, known for their craftsmanship and functionality, from HULS GALLERY based in Japan will be showcased and available for purchase.
由TEA HEALS 茶療嚴選的茶葉結合中藥療效，及 HULS GALLERY 帶來自日本愛知縣及佐賀縣別具特色而實用手製茶具，將於5日8日起展出及可供選購。
TEA HEALS 茶療
A good cup of tea, not only should smell good but leaves an unforgettable aroma lingering on your taste buds. There are many varieties of tea, the difference in the place of production and the tea-making technique, therefore even if it belongs to the same type of tea, the aroma, taste, attributes, and effects will be different, making each tea very unique and special. Tea refers to the sprouts or newly-grown leaves of Theaceae plants. Tea was a detoxicating agent in ancient times, while later tea applies in eating and drinking. Depending on different production processes, tea can be categorised into six categories: green tea, black tea, white tea, yellow tea, Oolong tea and black tea.
"TEA HEALS" has been founded since 2020, which aims to procure a variety of high-quality and aromatic tea from a sustainable source. In addition, their expert team shares knowledge about tea and herbal medicine to audience in both traditional and scientific context, enabling them to understand their preferences. The objective is to provide choice for them to achieve “Tea therapy for mind and body" maintaining individuals’ health and balance.
一杯好的茶，清香撲鼻，齒頰留香，令人久久難忘。但茶的品種豐富，即使屬同一類茶，亦會因產地及製茶工藝的不同，衍生出各茶葉特殊的香氣、味道、屬性及功效。茶是山茶科植物的嫩葉或嫩芽，古時的人用來解毒，後來用於飲食上。茶因應製作工藝的不同，能夠分為六大茶類：綠茶、紅茶、白茶、黃茶、青茶和黑茶。
「茶療」成立於2020年，從世界各地搜尋芬芳、優質及可持續來源的茶。通過專業的茶藝師及中藥師，嚴選各類優質香醇的茶葉、天然純正的中藥，以傳統與科學並重的方式與大眾分享關於茶和中藥的知識，了解自己的喜好及體質，選擇合適的茗茶，達到「茶療身心」頤養天和的效果。

Tokoname ware : Seiji ITO
Seiji ITO is a teapot artist based in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. Over the past 40 years, he has continued to make a variety of quality teapots that combines design and functionality. One of his signature designs is “flat teapot” which is characterised by its extremely flat design.
Arita ware : Sinji TERAUCHI
Shinji TERAUCHI is the President and the forth-generation of an Arita ware manufacturer, Riso Porcelain. Inherited traditional Arita styles, he adopts creatively the latest digital technology and makes reference to traditional scraping technique called shinogite. It is a technique that creates ridge lines on the surface creating the tea ware easy to hold in hand.
