Handcrafted by a_woo 森雨制陶 pottery studio based in Taipei, this teaware platform is elegantly made, yet functional. Some rough textures are included on purpose from the stoneware clay which give the pottery character. It is perfect for the teapot to rest on it, and it can also be used for a serving plate.
Stoneware has been fired at a high temperature, less porous than earthenware. It is normally glazed for durabitily.
